Every morning this past month I started off my day with a prayer for the Torrey Family. Today though, is a special day as Bill is undergoing surgery to remove the tumor that has grown inside his brain.
A majority of my close friends are from high school or college, come to think of it all but one of them are . . . Bethany Torrey. We met when I moved to Charlotte in February 2003 and since then not only do we get along famously, but our lives have been on the same track. We started dating our future husbands the same weekend, engaged within a month of one another, married within two, first child (girls) within four and our second child (girls again) eight days apart. She has always been an outstanding friend, always there for me, always supportive of me and an absolute positive influence in my life. She is a rock, as is her husband and although this isn't a path they would have ever chosen for themselves, it's one they'll conquer together!
So to any family and friends that read this post, please spend a moment and send good thoughts to the Torrey Family for Bills full and speedy recovery!
