What's in a picture?

It's amazing what a simple picture can represent, for me this photograph equals complete contentment!  The sun setting on a perfect Saturday, the day has cooled off and I can smell fresh cut grass in the air.  I'm tired, but it's a good tired as I've spent the day with my girls and David at the neighborhood pool.  Proof of our afternoon is skewed all over the deck in the shape of buckets, bathing suits and beach towels.  There's a book on the end table, a book!!!  It's been quite a while since I've been able to read, to have the time to read . . not because I'm the mother of two under two, but because any extra time I have is normally eclipsed with work.   Summer however is a time when work slows down and my weekends are simply weekends, where I can devote myself whole heartily to my family.  I'm not worried about deadlines or have an insurmountable workload hanging over my head.  I have the time to make blueberry muffins from scratch, cook dinners, read a book and just plain enjoy life with my family.  This picture represents the life that I want to live each and every day!
